Jennifer Brereton

Using her observational skills and bold, atmospheric drawing to bring attention to her subjects identity, Jennifer works mainly in pencil as well as charcoal and conte crayon. A farming childhood gave Jennifer insight into animal behaviour; details that are very much appreciated by highly critical customers who handle stock. A retired dairy farmers comment of, 'I've seen that every day but I've never noticed it before', when purchasing a print of cows eating under an electric fence, sums up what Jennifer hopes to achieve in her drawings.
